What is Liquid Lipo?
Liquid Lipo is a revolutionary UK produced (approved for worldwide distribution) fat dissolve gel, it is the only one of its kind in the world. It is a topical agent that works in a similar manner to fat dissolve injections, but unlike its more invasive counter part Liquid Lipo has less potential for harmful side effects and works over a larger area, it is more cost effective and has no recovery time.
How does it work?
Liquid Lipo is applied to the skin either on its own using a wrap, or prior to treatments such as cavitation. Much in a similar way to how transdermal patches allow medication to cross the skin.
Liquid Lipo is infused with high grade essential oils that carry the fat dissolve formula into the tissues; It then travels to and targets fat cells, reducing their size and allowing the fat within to be naturally broken down by the body into water and Carbon Dioxide. These byproducts are then safely excreted via the bowel and urine, also via the skin during perspiration. It is important to drink 2 litres of water following treatment to flush out the fat.
Pre Care
In the days prior to the procedure try to drink at least 2 litres of water a day so that you are optimally hydrated during treatment. Alcohol should be avoided for 24 hours before hand & up to 48 hours after ideally.
For optimal lymphatic drainage it is important you are hydrated.
On the treatment days you should exfoliate the area to be treated. To do this you can use an exfoliating mitt, a dry brush or any other suitable exfoliating equipment. Exfoliate the area for a couple of minutes and this will remove dead skin and open the pores. By exfoliating the area it allows the fat dissolving agents to better enter the skin and allow you to get the most from your treatment.
Apply a couple pumps of the gel, Then wrap in cling film, then for optimal results it’s recommended to wear a waist trainer over the top of cling film, leave for at least 2 hours, and make sure your drinking your water to flush the dissolved fat cells out.
Take your weight and measurements on day 1 before you start your treatment.
After Care
Following the procedure it is important you drink 2 litres of waters. This is to flush out any of the broken down fat and toxins released from the fat cells. Because fat is being broken down by the body it is important you drink water or you may develop a headache. The water keeps you hydrated and makes this less likely. If you develop a headache you should increase your fluid intake.
You may notice some slight skin sensitivity following the treatment. This is normal and should only last a few hours.
It is important following the procedure that you do not drink alcohol. Alcohol is burnt off by the body before fat. Alcohol intake will prevent the procedure from working and should be avoided for 24 hours before & after the procedure.
The Lymphatic system can only take so much so only one part of the body can be wrapped in one session.
